The Visit Centre of the Chamois and faunistic Area

Entirely dedicated to the chamois, to the wildlife and to the vegetation present in the Park, this centre, with annexed wildlife area, represents a valid information point if you want to discover this wonderful animal. Situated in the hamlet of Rovere, in the Municipality of Rocca di Mezzo, the centre offers: an information point with possibility to receive some material, a "wall painting" representing the habitat of the chamois, explanatory panels, animal and vegetal finds from Sirente Velino Park, a scale model and a case with chamois specimens. The last room is used as a conference room or recreation room for environmental education activities of the children. A large window allows you, with the aid of binoculars, to the view of faunistic area.

Opening hours:
Christmas period and summer period: every day from 11.00 to 13.00 and from 14.30 to 16.30; during the rest of the year: on Saturdays from 14.30 to 16.30 and on Sundays from 11.00 to 13.00.
Upon request the opening is guaranteed even outside the specified hours.
