Italic Temple in Castel di Ieri

The archaeological investigations and excavations carried out on this part of the territory testify to the constant attendance of Castel di Ieri since the pre-Roman age: remains of ancient vestiges, important finds, traces of aqueducts and mosaic floors, a fortified center. Recently, a sacred area was discovered with a temple of the Republican age, where the high podium is preserved with a staircase, cells with mosaic floors and inscriptions, fragments of the cult statue.
