Sentieri Parco Sirente Velino
The technical offices of the Park have been able to definitively fix about 400 km of pre-existing tracks chosen among the most interesting, the less potentially damaging for the environment, and the most adequate as territorial reference points.
The trail network has been divided into systems depending on morphological features and theme: Aterno system, Sentiero Italia, Alta Via, special trails which are usually very busy but particularly fragile for the environment, nature trails, and trails for people with disabilities.
Moreover, the trails have been georeferenced and numbered on cartography IGM 1:25.000: for each of them, the distance in kilometers and the altitude in meters are specified.
