Antichi mestieri del Parco

The villages within the territory of Sirente Velino Park are situated far from the big towns. In the past, this implied connection difficulties for traders. Only a few villages were interested by trade, like Rocca di Mezzo and Rocca di Cambio, the name of the former deriving from its central position, and the name of the latter deriving from the fact that when the mail service got there, it was the moment to change the horse, exhausted by the long journey.
